Hi Everyone!!
Well this weeks weigh-in has come to a close and I was on pins and needles. See, the kids and I took the weekend and went to Medford and stayed the night, a couple nights in fact. We ate out every meal and it was so good, but yet it was hard on my mental state. I could hardly enjoy myself because I was always thinking of what I could or couldn't eat. It was awful trying to decide between pizza and breadsticks or Subway....both won, only different meals. Though I must say I did swim in the pool and stood on the side doing water aerobics...my legs and arms were sore. We also went to The Oregon Vortex on Sunday. It's located between Grants Pass and Medford, just outside Gold Hill. Silly me, we went at 2:30 pm, the hottest part of the day. Our tour lasted about 2 hours. For those of you who haven't been there the tour itself is not long it's the terrain that is hard...well for someone my size it's hard. It's all gravel and steep and the House of Mystery is slick inside and unstable. I nearly threw up from the house being so off kilt...I know I know, I'm a wuss but had I known I would have been that sick I would have taken some anti-motion pills. Oh well, lesson learned. If you haven't been to The Oregon Vortex you should really check it out, it's a pretty amazing place. Well I bring that experience up because I must have sweat out about 10 lbs....lol Not really but I think that is what saved me from gaining this weekend. Yep, I lost a half a pound. I'm good with that. I'll take it. Hey, it's not a gain and that's all I need to remember! So now that it's getting late I should go get into bed. If you haven't checked out The Biggest Loser show, you should. It's on NBC on Tuesday nights. I am one of their biggest fans....no punn really intended but I'll roll with that...lol
Well friends, until next week, take it slow, one day at a time and enjoy those around you because tomorrow is not promised. Love the One who gave you breath!
