The book is called "Crack The Fat Loss Code" by Wendy Chant. One of my fellow Sparksters told me about it. I bought the book on-line for $11. It is basically a two month program. If you haven't reached your goal by that time, you go back to week two and continue the plan again. The first week is really tough because you are limited to 20 carbs per day. The purpose is to rid your body of fat and make it use the stored resources. Week after week, you slowly start adding the foods that were deleted until you are in maintenance where she encourages a "cheat day". No sweets until after the third week, but I got through it and I know it has helped. According to my calculations, I have gone from 39% body fat to 20%. I have one more week and then I will schedule my doctor's appt. to see if the blood tests pan out. Let me know if you are going to try it. I can help with any questions.
