It's funny how when you are on this journey the way people perceive you. Some see you as the person who is defeating all of these odds that are stacked up against you, while others see you as an inspiration to lose that stubborn "5" pounds, yet others see you as that evil B##### who is accomplishing their goals.
But, I have gotten used to peoples reactions to the dramatic change that they observe when they see me. I sometimes wonder what they thought of me before. If I look so "good" now- Well dang, was I a "goony goo goo" before?

But yesterday, I realized that when your weight loss indirectly effects someone else it can be a motivating thing. You who have been with me through this know that I plan on getting my car when I reach goal. Well, I told my son that when I reach goal I will give him my car and trade in his. So, yesterday he says to me -"So like Mom, when do you think that's gonna be? 'cause I've been saving for a sub woofer for my car and I don't want to spend the money and not be able to get it. "
So, now I'm getting pressure to hurry up the weight loss process. Talk about getting a coach for free. He's not going to let me mess up because he has something at stake. From the mouths of babes-Well, he's my 20 year old babe. LOL

Just wanted to share!!!

What a great motivator, Charmaine! You better get hustling now to drop those last pounds. You can't avoid your "baby boy!"

I think that's the best motivation a mother can have. Your gift from God is motivating you to continue to strive for your goals, so he can ultimately get one of his own! You go girl. God truly works in mysterious ways!
