Oh My Gosh!

I can't believe I did it! Today I exercised more than five hours. I walked over 26,000 steps which for my gate is almost half a marathon. I'm in real estate and because I have to work tomorrow, I was afraid I wouldn't get any exercise time in. I also like to take Sunday as a relax day, so I thought I would try to do two days in one. After my aerobics workout in the morning, I decided to walk to the store that is four miles away. I had no car today and the store gave me a good destination and a reason for going. When I returned home, it was such a beautiful day, I wanted to ride my bike. I thought I had already had a good workout, so I would take it slow and see how far I could go. I rode for an hour before I felt like I needed to stop. I am still so excited about my last Dr's visit that I decided to see how far I could push myself. I did the three mile WATP tape before I finally felt I could do no more. I have to tell you, I am not an athlete and even in my younger years, I never did anything like this. I Have had a lot of inspiration and motivation from my friends at SparkPeople and I know that is the reason , with the grace of God, for my success!

    Cynthia, That is amazing. It makes me realize that I am not doing enough exercise!! Most of my major exercising lately has been in putting in a new garden behind our pool. Even though that is strenuous work (we put in about 5 hrs a day, between taking out grass, digging, weeding, raking, planting, putting in landscape lights and building a brick wall), I don't feel it is really exercising, but after doing that we are just pooped!!! Today we went to the mall and did some leisurely walking. I think I am going to have to pump up my routines though after reading what you do.... like I said before, you are very inspiring!!! emoticon

    Cynthia girl, you are a supper athlete in my eyes. You are such an inspiration and motivator just for being who you are. You are doing EXCELLENT girl, emoticon emoticon 26,000 Steps and 5 hours of exercise. I think you topped us all yesterday. WOW,
