"Happy" Halloween

Good day, at least most of it - d/o the kids, ran to the store to p/u some last minute things for tonight, came home, did some paperwork, went to my therapy appt, then 2 stores trying to find something that neither one had, then off to have lunch w/Nanny. Home to organize and pack/load up. Got the kids, went to one friend's house who lives a couple blocks away from where we were headed. Spent about 1/2 hour there, then to our other friends house. We carved a big pumpkin, the kids decorated 4 little pumpkins, we put together a Halloween gingerbread house, ate dinner, went trick or treating. It's been raining on and off all day and it got to be problematic for Shelby and I. The rain was making everyone's driveway really slick and her power chair was starting to slide, her umbrella is huge and thus very heavy, I was trying to be patient w/her (the 3 boys did awesome waiting for her at every house and all the houses had a step before the front door so Shane would always ask for a piece of candy that he could give to his sister. Very sweet of him. )Anyways, Shelby and I headed back to Tammy's house while Tammy and the 3 boys finished up the loop. By the time we reached their house, I was feeling horrible. My throat was on fire, I was coughing, my tummy was queasy...so I rested, Shelby watched a movie, eventually the other boys and Tammy came back, we all hung out then headed for home. Hate driving when I'm crazy tired. Steve took Shelby potty to discover she had peed in the pull up she had on. This led to a huge "discussion" of that plus not helping plus a zillion other things resulting in Shelby's crying and Steve really mad. We got the kids in bed, said prayers and my tummy still isn't doing well but my throat's better. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
