You've got to be kidding me

As you can see from my last entry that day I announced I didn't weigh myself was actually the week of my downfall. I did do a lot of walking in NYC, lost a few pounds doing it, but everything went down hill from there. I slacked off WAY too much in the summer when I should have been pushing harder. I only gained about 3 pounds since my 20 pound loss, but a gain is a gain and it totally sucks. The worst was not coming to SparkPeople.com. This thing was my life saver and I think I've been failing because I stopped logging on, truly, so I have to get back here as often as possible!

In September my husband and I joined a new gym. My husband had never even stepped foot in a gym except for high school because he was a sports nut, but he's been doing great trying to go and get us both motivated. The gym is great, very clean, lots of options and not pushy with the personal training.

So I want to do my usual yearly 5k. It's in April of 2009 so I have some time to start training. My foot is a little whacked right now from my last run (yeah I run 6 minutes of 60, and hey trust me that's progress) so I'll have to take it slow but I'm goin. If I can just get to the gym at least 3 times a week I know I'll do well. Last year doing the same thing for the same amount of time I lost 20 pounds so hopefully it will work again for me!!

I'm back baby!
