A New Year Is Upon Us

It's hard to believe that 2008 has come and is nearly over now. Where have the days gone? It's been quite an interesting year, but I am thankful for all the blessings our grand Creator has bestowed upon me.

As I look forward to 2009, I pray for strength and guidance in the hope that I will make wise decisions in all matters, especially those impacting others. I pray too that all my friends here on Sparkpeople will continue to dedicate yourselves to pursuing more healthy lifestyles and that you and your families are able to fulfill your dreams.

It's important that we all realize that happiness comes from within and not from the things we possess. So, let's all take time to meditate on what really brings us joy and contentment.

May God continue to bless you and your families. Remember to keep Him first in all that you do and you will find joy. Hope to see you around in 2009.
