Going In The Opposite Direction..........

Thursday, January 15, 2009

So I decided to weigh myself this morning because I hadn't weighed in since Thanksgiving and I have been working really hard lately so I said.."What the hey"
So I got on the scale and the first words out of my mouth were "Oh S***!!!
So between Thanksgiving and now--I haven't lost any weight----I gained
how much would you ask???11 stinkin pounds.

So I know where I went wrong
So why do I feel like a screw up???
I busted my butt to get to where I was last year and to think it took me literally two months to gain 11 frickin pounds!!!

I need to give myself a swift kick in the pants!

So for those of you that have been on my page know that I practically have my whole workout schedule planned out. This is going to change.
I love P90X!
I love how strong I have become while doing the program and overall it just ROCKS!!!

But ever since I got on the scale this morning I have been thinking.......

Maybe it's time for me to do some readjusting to my current schedule.

I just happened upon your page and I found your plan of action to be quite detailed and promising. Per your blog, you seemed to have reversed course on the scale; however, I'm sure it's not a total loss. Based on some of the things I've heard about P90X, your body should have gained considerable muscle tone. As for cardio, you may want to give High Intesity Interval Training a try if you haven't already. You don't have to spend excessive time each day doing it, but it really works hand in hand with strength training to rid those stubborn pounds. Stay positive and most of all stay focused! You'll reach your goal in short order. Best wishes.

Hang in there, it is easy to let things get out of hand over the holidays. You know where you went wrong so you just pick yourself up, brush off the dust and move forward.

Girl: I feel your pain! As you know, I went through this exact issue last week and was highly pissed off!! I honestly think that you "may" need to eat more based on the amount of exercise you're doing daily. I upped my calories (and couldn't help but continue with my P90X and running) and lost 2 lbs this week. So, I'm back down to 164.4 and can only pray that when I weigh-in again the scale will be going in the right direction.

I'm still here for you girl! Let's continue to support each other...
