It's gotten crazy the last few weeks! School is one test after another and in the process I've been nominated for GOAL - the Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership. Nominations are based on gpa, work ethics, character, etc, so it's an honor, but with it comes responsibility...extra meetings, interviews and presenting speeches. What have I gotten myself into???
The job issues still aren't settled, but I think I will be staying in the same location, just will have a different job title. The good news is, the position I'll probably get should be much less stress so that I can almost coast until January when I retire. I was disappointed that I didn't get to take the early retirement I wanted, but God is in control and I'm submissive to His plan. In our economy I'm blessed to still have a job.
I've lost a little more weight, got down to 137 this week! Problem is, exercise is almost nonexistent. I just can't work it in. I leave the house at 6 am, I study on my lunch hour, I get home at 4:50p and leave for school at 5:15 then get home from school around 10 or 10:30p. I'm too tired to do anything but fall into bed. I plan to ride my stationary bike this afternoon while I practice my speech and study for a pharmacology test I'm having on Monday.
Although I don't get to post on the boards as often, I still read posts and still need encouragement from my spark friends. Have a happy Valentine's day and a great weekend....stay away from the candy!
