Getting started...

Somewhere along the line, I got the idea that the little things don't matter. Don't get me wrong...that's a great philosophy. However, I didn't notice how quickly the little things were adding up. Then one day I was 20 pounds heavier than my highest healthy weight. Oops. The first day I tracked my calories, I was shocked at how quickly they added up. I didn't have snacks or anything and I maxed out. It doesn't really feel that bad that I have to cut back. I mean, for the past couple years I believed that I *couldn't* lose weight anymore cuz of my advanced age. :) At least now I know there is hope.
