Super Stessed!!!

Thursday, April 30, 2009

My DS has been keeping our 2 year old dog after she attacked our 10 month old dog and almost killed him. Dont know what happened there.

DS and his room mates house caught fire today and DS and Stella have to come home until his transfer from work comes through. He is supposed to be transfered to the Tucson branch.

I am so worried about the dogs and how I am going to manage them. I bought a crate for Stella on the way home from work. Sprocket is already crate trained and has a crate. We are going to get the dogs muzzles tonight as well to keep any damage from happening if they decide to fight again.

Work was horrible today as well. Couldnt get a program I needed to work, didnt get some important billing done,, boss is PISSED at me. Like thats my fault?? I told I.T. and he said "I dont know why its not working"... Did he fix it? NO!!!! Uggggg

I am so stressed I feel like I am going to throw up. Really. I want to go in the kitchen and grab a bag of Frito's, a can of chili and a mountain of cheddar cheese and eat all of it. Not a good plan but thats how I feel.

What I am going to do instead is go to the ranch market and get a half a grilled chicken for dinner. At least its grilled and not Frito's right?

    Hello Angela,
I'm sorry to hear that you had a terrible day. Don't turn to food when you are feeling bad. Come and talk to 1 of us if we're online.I'm usually on after 12pm (afternoon) until 3pm ... Off until after 7 or 8pm. If i'm not online, please leave me a message, or to 1 of the team members. I know we all are here for one another. Take some deep breaths and count to 10 (is usually what I do if no one is online. Then try again later. emoticon emoticon emoticon
Take care, talk to you soon and have a good weekend. Always, ERNA

What a horrible day! Too bad the Dog Whisperer isn't close to you. Have you ever watched his program. He is amazing. The crate and muzzles looks like your best choice.
As for your boss. That's a man for ya.
Good job for staying away from the Fritos.
Hope is all gets better soon.

Since you have crates for both dogs my suggestion would be is to keep them seperated. Let them have equal time outside of the crate and with family and outdoors. This works I have done this with my own dogs when I have had two males that wouldn't get along. This way you are having to worry constantly about the dogs attacking each other.

What a crappy day you had! Hugs all around your house. I would suggest when you get the muzzles, not to leave the dogs in them (unattended). We have the mesh one's for grooming, however have also used the ones racing dogs use (when we were lure coursing).

To get them used to the muzzle, I would put it on them, and then give them a treat, so that they associate it with a reward, our guys all hate wearing them (only for knot pulling) and try pulling it off.

Please let me know if there is anything we can do, hugs again!

Wow What a rotten day you have had.I understand why you wanted to eat the Frito's. Do you have a garage where you could keep the other dog so he can't hurt the 10 month old.
I'm sorry but I would probably have to get rid of one of the dogs. But I'm not attached as you are.I hope things settle down for you. You sure haven't gotten any breaks lately. I hope it gets better.
