THIS IS GOOD.... I THINK...

Based on comments from all my lovely Spark Friends I have decided to take a week and track all my food (however humbling that may be). I started friday morning (yesterday) and will track through thursday of this coming week. I will repeat - I hate tracking. But, I can see where it might be useful in seeing what I might be over in or lacking in. Anyone is welcome to look at my tracker, but I warn you - my food from yesterday and today was not good... weekend eating. But this week will be much better. BTW - If you DO happen to look at my tracker from today... I don't know WHAT possessed me to eat three brownies. But I am not going to beat myself up about it - I will move on and have a great week.

Also - after a frustrating week having to lose 10 pounds gained from last weekend, I finally stepped on the scale this morning just out of curiosity - and finally hit 268 - my 35 pound goal!!!! Just wanted to share that with ya'll...

Is this officially my shortest blog ever?

    SEE? You got all upset with yourself in yesterdays blog and here it is the 35 pound goal! Girl! You got it going on!

    The tracking I have hated too and finally I decided I WANTED to track for ME, then I went haywire on calories and stopped for a bit, then started up again and went for like 40 something days, then have not tracked in the last 2 weeks or so. I will start again, but I don't HATE it anymore, i just got busy and got tired of it. Anyway, it's about coming to terms with tracking on your own, it's not as hard as it was when I first started.

    track, track, track, If you bite it write it. It does work. I tried the my pyramid.gov and did the proportion thing.... 17 pounds in 5 week. Started tracking 13 pounds in 4 weeks. You also made it public and it makes you think about what you are eating. Congrats.

    I never would have lost 86 pounds and made my goal without tracking food. In fact, the new scary maintenance also only works with tracking my food. You will be amazed AND informed with the tracking information. Knowledge is key!
