Worms in the fridge

Sunday, August 09, 2009

When my grand daughter got back from camping today, her mom wasn't home yet so she unloaded everything into my house. In the ice chest, among other things, was a container of worms. (Left over from fishing). I said "No way do those go in my fridge". But my daughter called and said they would die if not in the fridge. As long as they are cold they would stay asleep and not bother anything. Well, let me tell you, until she comes tomorrow to pick everything up, including the worms, I am not going to have any trouble eating!! That could translate to a couple pounds off!!

LOL! Since I love to fish I sometimes have worms in my frig. One time my brother in law had the munchies an went rummaging in the refrigerator. When he opened the worm container thinking it was food I thought he was gonna toss his lunch!

This is so funny! Isn't it something, how we each find our motivation in different ways? Good thing you still have food available in the pantry, not just in the fridge, LOL! That way you won't starve. emoticon
    Thanks for sharing!

LOL!!! My son is an avid fisherman..he doesn't use live worms much anymore, but I'm so used to it, it doesn't bother me like it once did.. Thanks for the laughs this morning!

If you have fishermen in your house, this is normal. But I never liked it. We had a friend that had some owls she was feeding and she would buy rats and mice and put them in the freezer for her owls. And this Lady was very fussy about her house, including the kitchen. Never could figure that one out! Interesting blog. lol

Am I too much of a tomboy or what? The whole worm thing doesn't bother me at all! As a matter of fact, my rottie recently left a dead squirrel on the front lawn and rather than just letting him eat it once rotten (his favorite....yum emoticon ), I bagged it and put it in the freezer until I could dispose of it that evening.....my son and his girlfriend were pretty disgusted! That in itself gave me a few giggles!

I always make the worms sleep in the outside fridge. I find it a pretty gross thing too....
