18 months and counting

When I started this journey a little over 18 months ago I weighed in at 390 lbs. Yesterday I weighed in at 309.4 lbs; that's a little over 80 lbs lost. I'm happy with that but looking forward to watching that number continue to go down. I go to the doctor every 2 months for follow up visits for what they think is Fibromyalgia. The last time I was in the nurse weighed me and wrote it down to put in the computer when we got back to the room. When she started entering my weight in the computer she turned and looked at me and asked if she needed to re-weigh me. She was shocked to see that I had lost 15 pounds in 2 months. I assured her that was right because I had been trying to lose weight. I've had other success not measured on the scale.
Where I work we have to wear uniforms which consist of pants that look like blue jeans and long sleeve button down shirts. When they were first ordered I was in a 48 pants and a 6X shirt. Recently I had to send them back in to be made SMALLER. I am happy to say I am now wearing a 44 pants and a 4X shirt. Still got some work to do but this is major progress. When I met my wife almost 10 years ago I was around 280 lbs and I couldn't fit in a 44 then. So I don't know what the difference is this time; but I'm not complaining!
