Cruise Countdown!!

First I must say that the Dr. Appt a couple weeks ago went GREAT! I had actually lost a little more than I though I did because I was actually two pounds heavier when I started than I thought. My blood work was better than it had been in MANY years!!! My Doctor was very interested in SparkPeople and was going to get online and check us out!
So - On the the next adventure--28 days until we cruise!! I have 6 pounds to make goal at this point - though I am not going to lie, if I get close, but just short, I am not going to be upset. I have done a great job and there is much more to lose in the big picture. On the other hand, I am not counting myself out yet either!!! But I woke up this morning worrying about being on a ship for 7 days with out SP! That's me - the worrier!!! So between now and then I have to get used to the idea that I will be on my own for 7 days. They do have a computer library aboard ship - But I am not planning to bring a laptop and I think that by that time I will have been doing this for 3+ months and ought to be able to handle things on my own. I am bringing my two biggest cheerleaders along - My husband and my mom. Anyone have any advice????

    We have a 15 day cruise next April/May...this is my plan of action. I plan to enjoy myself...the cruise line we are cruising with uses Cooking light...so choices are healthier. They also include a diabetic dessert which would be sugar free...still have fat, but a healthier choice. We eat breakfast and lunch at the Garden Cafe (the buffet style with all kinds of foods)...then we eat dinner in one of the dining rooms. The buffet offers tons of fruit and vegetables...to eat healthy. I plan to write down everything I eat...it will make me accountable. There also is a gym on board...but I just walk around the deck that is set out for walking and running. There are usually signs that tell you how far it is around the deck. My plan is to walk 5 miles/day while we are at sea...we leave from Miami and sail across the Atlantic for 5 days before our first port of call.
    I think the most important part of the plan is writing down all I eat...that way I will stay away from snack pizza, the ice cream, afternoon snacks...that will be hard but I will have to do...good thing my DH doesn't like to snack.
    I will be interested to hear what you did, and how it went. Where are you going on your cruise? And with what cruise line?
