Well...I hope I'm not overstating it. It wasn't a "timed event"..but it took concerted effort. In the 5 1/2 days last week while my dh had back surgery & was recovering, I walked 43 miles.

Hotel hallways, hospital halls, outside on nearby trails and in my SIL's neighborhood where we stayed a couple of nights. I didn't wear my HR chestband so don't know the calories burned, but did wear the pedometer.

After I shared this fact with a girlfriend, she invited me to walk on over to her house. She said, "It's only 63 miles...you can do it!"

I know I'm quite late on this one, but I loved it. That's just so great. And I love your friend's comment.

Wow! I'm guessing the walking helped relieved the stress of the waiting, too.
