Zoey and Oscar, the potty training chronicles.

For my last blog of the day, I wanted to talk about something maybe all pet owners have issues with- potty training!
This is Zoey. My angel. She is potty trained.
This is Oscar. Cute I know. He is not!
The best of friends, as you can see.
So I ask myself, why is Oscar still not potty trained!
He is not kenneled, which is probably the first mistake. Zoey is not kenneled, so I decided I did not want to kennel him either. We thought he was potty trained months ago, until our room started smelling like poop. Cole looked under our sleight bed, and I kid you not there was about 45 pieces of Oscar Meyer poop. So we blocked off his under the bed access. Then we come to his pee. We started using puppy pads, that was no problem. He began using them all the time. Slowly we moved them closer and closer to the dog door- then finally outside. He finally got it. Nope we were wrong. He will go outside if we are home, but when we are not forget about it. When we come home from work he goes right outside, cause he knows we are going to find his little accidents. It's like he knows, but he just doesn't want to go outside. Zoey goes outside when we are not home no problem. Why can't he take after his sister?
A few times he has pooped in Cole's shoes, peed all over his clothes, and the funniest one time actually peed on him! That was months ago though when he was still a baby. He is now six months. I understand potty training takes time, but I don't understand?
