Tis the season to of not started a life style change!

Seriously I would have to say around this time of year has been the hardest time for me of my journey yet. People are so excited for Christmas, and New Years. For me I can't wait for all the temptation to be gone! People say oh you can just have a little, or just a few bites. Yeah right I am not able to temp myself yet like that. Plus just a few calories ends up in hundreds of calories!
For example my boyfriend has these seasonal strawberry fig newtons in the pantry. ( I am not sure if you can get them after the holidays ) I was curious on the calorie content. One of those little suckers has 50 calories! 50 calories for two bites NO THANK YOU!
I am curious if any of my readers are having issues with this. I feel as though I am not in a position yet to be tempted 24/7. I have not given into anything yet a work- GO ME!
As for the christmas party we attended on saturday. I had a handful of M and M'S, and a handful of white chocolate popcorn. I was proud I stopped there. I just feel like I am going to break, and eat all the crap in site.
Can anyone give me some motivating words?

Be sure that you are drinking LOTS of water, especially right before and during any partys you go to. I agree that you sound as if you are doing a good job of resisting a lot of temptations. No one is perfect, so don't beat yourself up when you do slip up.
Another option might be to bring your own, healthy snacks to any gatherings.

My best trick is that I keep cut up grapefruits on hand at all times. Whenever I need help to resist some treat or to end a Pizza Frenzy, I eat a small bowl of grapefruit. Appetite Dead!!

I wish I had an answer for you. It sounds like you're doing really well so far. What I realized is that alcohol and food together leads to overeating for me. That certainly is not the only thing that causes overeating. But it's one that for me is easy to eliminate. So I'll have an alcohol free holiday. In regards to food I'm glad this whole thing is almost over with!

I've had to go to lots of social situations and put in the food frenzy, however with the phen I do not feel the urge to eat like would normally. I have a whole lot of will power that I didn't on my own. I'm taking this time to understand its ok to eat a cookie if i want one but keeping everything in moderation. After all there will come a time when I will have to do this on my own and make those choices on my own.
My choices are truly the things that are mine. I've chosen this time for me.
