I am loving my new treadmill and I know I burn calaries when I am using it. I need to get these pounds off quickly so my back doesn't act up and the treadmill is the way to go. On the weekdays I am going for 2 30 min workout and on weekends 1 30 minute workout each Sat and Sun. Hopefully this will knock those pounds off and strengthen my heart and lungs Tell me why you love your treadmill and lets keep in touch

    Starr you rock way to go on using your treadmill and setting up times for yourself. I got rid of my treadmill because of my feet being broke and my back but i replaced it with an eliptical so i don't have the foot problem with the impact. The back will always be there but i do a backwards walk on my eliptical and it don't hurt my back as bad. I agree with Kendralong inside equipment is awesome you can get on and off without limping back and bad weather is not a problem no more.

    I like to use the treadmill because I can force myself to walk a faster pace. On the treadmill I can easily do a 15 minute mile. When I walk outside, I get distracted and I walk slower-usually about a 20 minute mile.

    I exercise my dog Kali on the treadmill and then I go on it.

    Good for you for setting up a great schedule for your treadmill.
    I don't own a treadmill but like my recumbent bike since I don't have to go out to use it and I can get on it any time of the day.

    I love the treadmill because it is convenient. It's not rainy, too cold, or too hot. It's not slippery or uneven. It's always steady and even. Plus, it keeps pace and time for me so I don't have to think about it. As a new runner, I'm terrible at pacing myself.

    I also like the treadmill because it allows me to get off any time I want. I hate hate hate walking somewhere just to experience pain (my foot acts up) and then have to walk back on an achy foot. It makes the foot problem like 10x worse!

    Congratulations for getting on the treadmill so regularly. So many people buy fitness equipment and then never use it. It sounds like you're getting some serious use out of yours. I'm proud of you! emoticon
