Just venting about house hunting! It s-u-x!!

Okay so I seriously am growing gray hair literally! Way too young, way too young.

So...the house was a bust. We had the inspection and the shorter list would consist of what was not wrong! I will leave the best for last Lol...the fiance and Jr found it...floating!

1. Termites.
2. Asbestos.
3. FAULTY WIRING!! We were told the electric and plumbing was updated, yeah maybe in one room. There were live wires every way, just waiting to spark a fire.
4. The sink in the upstairs bathroom was being held up by the pipe. You could see through the flooring since all there was was the original wooden flooring.
5. The roof which was "re-done" in 2007 need to be RE-DONE this spring.
6. The house was being held up with a lolly column, basically the house was caving. And the best part...this column was being held up by a slab of wood that was crumbling!
There was quite a bit more that was wrong but I would be here all night....BUT the best part....

Daryl and Jr go into the second bathroom and guess what was left behind??? Oh just a big old turd! They came out gagging. Oh and it clogged the toilet on top of it lol. Nice huh?

So needless to say, 3 months were wasted, even though we are glad we had a great inspector and didnt buy a house that was a death trap. And of course we live in one of the worst states to be buying a house since the prices for a house here is triple the price it would be fore any other state. Hence the reason we want to move south, preferably to North Carolina, in the near future!

This was a big disappointment to add to all the other nerve racking things. I hope something gets better soon.
