Still struggling

with not snacking at night!!!!

Why is it so hard even 7 months later? I know it is key in my weight loss but yet I struggle.

    I just had some popcorn tonight. I try to find something to do with my hands. Either a craft project, a puzzle of some kind or read a book. I hate to give up my quiet time after everyone else goes to bed too.

    Nanita I know what you mean. My husband says go to bed instead of snacking which sometimes works but I love to stay up. It's my treasured quiet time.

    Doing a non-eating activity that you enjoy might help especially if you go upstairs away from the kitchen and places you typically eat.

    One thing that helps is eating a healthy snack. I have fruit with vanilla yogurt (I like Stonyfield fat free because it has evaporated cane juice instead of Splenda which I don't like) and some Go Lean crunch on top. It satisfies my sweet tooth but in a healthy lower calorie way than my old sweet nutritionally deficient comfort foods did not.
