Last week was a bit of a rollercoaster ride for me

I had an outing this Saturday so last week I had set a be good goal for the weekend prior. I like to plan my days that I can't stay completely on course so I can make better choices around that day. Unfortunately the goal I had set for the weekend prior to my outing didn't go as well as planned. On Monday I beat myself up, but tried to let it go too. It did not hep that I had three weigh in's last week.

Then Tuesday rolled around and I weighed in that night at my nutrition class with the fancy scale that measures everything possible about your body. I had dropped almost 9 pounds since the class began and kept the numbers that shouldn't have changed equal and the ones that should have dropped. Basically these numbers let you know if you are losing muscle or just fat. I'm losing Fat!

Wednesday was the second weigh in for the Healthy U challenge and I had dropped 2 pounds from the week prior. Another positive result and I was feeling better. Thursday was my SparkPeople weigh in and I was pleased with hitting the 20 pound mark. I was really happy now.

So on Saturday my planned day at the wineries with the girls I actually made some very wise choices and wasn't as bad as I thought i would be. There was food offered at the wineries to pair with the herb we were receiving. It was the wine and herb event and since I love to grow my own herbs I was all for the trip.

I know I have to work these things into my healthy life because they are source of enjoyment for me. I also need to be patient with myself and keep working on not beating myself up for not being perfect.
