Wow! I am tired! My mother died on Friday, April 30, 2010. The funeral arrangements have been made, burial arranged, obit written...my brother, son, and dil come in tonight.
This morning my husband had to get a heart cath done. The nurse said we need to watch him because he may bleed. I guess it is my state of mind, but I am on edge!
I know I need to chill and keep telling myself to chill, but it doesn't happen.
One of my church sister's lost her sil to cancer today. She went in her sleep. Another close member is struggling with frequent TIA's
My son and dil are expecting their first baby. They already know that it is a girl and the expected due date is October 18th!
I am trying to stay chilled by working on a knitted baby throw which is a difficult pattern.

Lots to deal with. I will send a prayer your way to help. I bet you are tired with all that has happened to you lately.

Focus on the positive and keep your head up high. You can manage. You are stronger than you think you are!!

Good luck at the funeral! Also, good luck with your knitting project. That should help you de-stress once the funeral is over.

    Hugs to you!!! emoticon

emoticon emoticon Praying for you right now - what a lot to bear right now! May Jesus hold you up and give you and your family strength & and comfort right now; and protect your husband and give him healing.

I know I've told myself to chill out in the midst of stress so many times - but the more I tell myself, the more stressed out and overwhelmed I feel.... Sometimes it helps to go off alone if you can & have a good cry - let it out. I'm praying that your family is a support to you, and that your sisters in the church receive comfort and strength from Our Rock and Our Healer.

What a great idea, and a generous one, to destress by knitting a baby throw! emoticon

    Blessings... emoticon emoticon

There are times when life just is overwhelming. Knowing that helps. And knitting helps A LOT! I am sorry you and your family are going through so much right now.

Bless you! We change what we can and accept what we can't. Remember to breathe and take a little "me" time. You must remain healthy in order to help with those that are not. emoticon
