The Sun is Shining and all is well in my neck of the woods. Beating stress and anxiety!

Wow, what a challenge. Two weeks ago, where my husband works, went out on strike. We had no idea how long this was going to last. We had just gotten our finances straightened out which in itself cause stress and then the strike. I have to say, I believe I managed myself quite well. I didn't binge on food when I get down about something because I thought "What's the point" what can I do about the situation? I just kept going to work doing my job to the best of my ability and kept telling myself, don't stress keep calm things will work out.
At the beginning of this week, my boss called me in and told me she was extremely happy with my work and because of what I do it brings in lots of money for the company that she was going to reward me with a bonus system. Based on the money I brought in she would give me monthly bonuses. What a relief. Just when you think things couldn't get worse, "The Sun Shines" And then two days later we were told the strike was over. All had voted in favor of the contract. So give yourself sometime before you stress and become anxious...and look at your options. Don't just sit there and wait for things to happen - make them happen! Don't turn to food as comfort, instead exercise and do what's best for you. You will feel great about yourself. Have a funderfal day!
