3 months - Evaluating and rewarding goals.

I’ve been meaning to get this blog written for the last few days. I hit my 3 month mark with SP last week and felt the need to evaluate the goals I had set at the start of my program and adjust where needed. I also needed to reward myself for my successes since that was a step in the plan.

I’m happy to say that I have achieved my weight loss goals of losing 8 – 10 pounds a month, coming in at 29 pounds down! I will leave that goal as is for now since I still have a ways to go with my weight loss.

I also had a cardio goal of 3 – 4 times a week wanting to increase that to 5 – 7 days a week by the summer. I too have achieved that and now I have changed that goal to just do cardio 5 – 7 times a week.

I hadn’t set a strength goal so I have now added that I want to do strength exercises 3 times a week. Although I hadn’t put this goal in originally I have been trying to get more in and haven’t succeeded. Hopefully that will change now since I’ve set it on my page and written it in this blog!

As for the rewards, my granddaughter and I went shopping yesterday and although I did spend more money on her than myself, I bought myself a new pair of sneakers and workout pants for my up coming fitness class that begins in June.

The bigger reward is a mini vacation to Maine, one of my favorite places to go. I have that set for my half way mark. I may not get there right at that time, but I will hopefully book it then.
