Thanks guys- I spoke with a lady on the phone this morning who does bodybuilding spray tans. She recommends I get one Thursday night (a regular one) then, back on Friday evening for a second one that she adds some extra bronzer color (or something??) to the mix and sprays me again....then...no shower until AFTER the show :-( She said this turns out very nice. So....I'm going to start exfoliating now and lots of moisturizing to get my skin ready.

I tanned in a bed first because of paranoia of being orange but that is just from listening to too many people. I used Pro-tan but if I had to do it over again, I would just pay the show people to do it. THEN it's a 2 time deal and your done. You get sprayed the night before and the day of twice and your Just right. I spent $60 in product then paid someone another $100 to put it on me. It was $100 total for the show tan people to do it.

Well, I've been pondering this myself lately. My trainer recommended either Pro Tan applications OR Mystic Spray Tan at a salon. I'm gonna go with the second. I'm buying 6 spray tan sessions, I'm going to start next week (6 weeks out) to get a good base and to have a tan when I look for my posing suit next week. I believe the week of the show I will spray tan on Mon & Wed and then get a "custom spray" the day before the comp. The girl at the tanning salon actual does that one for me. I'd rather pay someone else to do it than have to mess with Pro Tan, but that's just my preference.

Good luck, you are getting SO close! How's the training & posing been going for you?
