Almost 40,000 steps on my pedometer and about 17 miles!!! Woo Hoo!

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

Wow, I never thought I'd accomplish this, but yesterday I took almost 40,000 steps on my pedometer!!!!! I remember when it was hard to do just 5,000 in one day and lucky if I could walk just one mile just 6 months ago! It's not even 9:15 this morning and I've got 9 miles in already today!! Funny thing about yesterday was I didn't even want to start exercising but I made myself.

Some days my new lifestyle seems harder than other days, but when I accomplish something like this it's really worth it! My husband and I are going to the local amusement/water park today and I'm anxious to see if walking around there and the way I feel is different from last year, cause I remember being pretty tired at my 218 lbs. plus last year. I also can't wait to try on my new Tankini!!!!! Can't remember last time I was actually excited to put a bathing suit on!!!!
