And it begins!
Back in April I had gotten down to 166.2 lb, a weight at which I felt and looked awesome. Somehow the pounds coming off didn't have much of a noticeable effect (I started at 185 in November) but after I hit 168 or so, people would do double-takes and make the "WOW" comments we are all secretly in the game for :) I'm back up to 175 however, thanks to depression and the learning curve. I'm not sitting around depressed about it, though. I've lost these pounds before and can do it again. I've learned a lot and am healthier. No shame.
Now the kicker. I live in Germany and go back to NY about once or twice a year. I haven't been since last August, and am going again this July. I had very much hoped to come and see everyone looking awesome at 166 or lower. Now I'm wondering if I can still make it. I am firmly back on the wagon, and if I take it seriously and don't derail for the 4.5 weeks I have left... I could lose 9 lb. That's a healthy, steady loss, about 2 lb per week.
This is the challenge; this is the plan.
166 by July 26. Can I do it? What do you think?
