One goal met – One goal not!

How can this be? Easy in my multi challenge world.

I had my final weigh in with one of my 10 week challenges today. At the beginning of the challenge I had set a goal weight that was very reasonable, or so I thought. Then I hit a plateau for a few weeks and had a foot injury. I struggled to change my fitness routine, finally found my groove again and the pounds started coming off again.

At the beginning of this week I was very close to goal weight for the 10 week challenge, hit goal weight on Tuesday, was up .2 from goal weight on Wednesday and today was my official weigh in day. You are probably thinking I shouldn’t weigh myself so often, but I don’t record any of them but Thursdays. So this morning I got on the scale and didn’t believe my eyes. I had lost a pound from yesterday to beat the goal weight by .8 pounds! emoticon emoticon

I stuck this in my tracker and went to look at my total lost so far since joining SP. Now I am .2 pounds away from my halfway mark. This is the goal I didn’t make. The good news is I didn’t think I would make it this week anyway because I had a much better overall weight loss today than expected! I now am hoping to beat that next week, but my first plateau started just .2 pounds away from the 40 pound mark so I won’t worry if I don’t.

There is something about those .2 pound marks that like to mess with me.
