Tree Detail or Fun? Which would you choose!

Last fall we had a major tree fall in the back part of our yard. It fell in the very back part next to the water which splits my yard between grass and woods. When it first happened we spent a whole day with extra help getting the top part removed from the neighbor’s back yard. This tree was very large and also took out a few others so there was a lot to chop and haul.

We thought we would finish the job of chopping and stacking this spring when we take vacation in May. Between the weather and the chain saw chains becoming dull the job has not been completed. With three days off this week we were hoping to get more of the tree detail completed. The first two days we had off were unbearable with heat and humidity. My husband can not work outside in it because of his asthma.

So today I was hoping to go kayaking because the weather was suppose to be pleasant. I got up this morning and it seemed like a good tree day too! What to do!!! I so love kayaking, but I know we need to get that darn tree taken care of. I am so torn, but I am going to do the right thing and go out and help with the tree.
