DAY 22 I am too old for him

Sunday, August 22, 2010

OK I recognize that toddlers wear you out. Not sure if it is the BOY in him (I have 2 daughters) But all of us have come to the conclusion that we are not ready to be mothers or grandmothers. we lived for him to go to sleep. BUT in spite of his activity I have managed to get my bedroom and bathroom in some order. *BIG SIGH OF RELIEF* I have some paper clutter but I start to work that out. I think my "chi" is being restored
We are working(for the gazillionth time) on a plan to keep things in order. Basketball season will be here sooner than we know and the cheerleader will be busy(she will use any excuse not to clean) so we sat down this morning and made yet another plan.

I will have to fight the tendency to ignore stuff because of my stress level and fight to keep things at a certain level. Not perfect but livable. (Fighting perfectionism)

One thing I can rave about is my body now craves water!!!!! In the past that only happened on RARE occasions. All weekend I have wanted water. Not milk or coffee but I actually wanted water. !!!!!!!!!

Well the little ones Grammy is on her way(Mom is in Navy reserves and just completed boot camp and sent straight for her educational training) I have enjoyed him and I will miss him but I will be OK with visiting. LOL

I have also realized that my body craves water too when it doesn't have it. It's a big change from when I didn't water at all but I definitely know what you mean!!!It's such a great feeling! Yay for you!

I had three sons so when my granddaughter came along she was a much different type than I was use to. Funny how that works. emoticon

Sounds like you are really doing well with balancing things! Or at least better than me! Congrats on being a water convert!

At least you get to seed him to his momma. Our oldest is 21 then we got a 14 year old daughter a 12 year old son and the little guy in the profile picture is about to be three. the thing is he's not our grandson he's our son! We gotta deal with all that energy every day! But I love em!
