Another Day-What Next

OK, doing good on second day of streaks. Did at least 8 glasses of water, no desserts, no colas, did 48 crunches, did 40 minutes lite cardio. So off to a good start, we will see how long these streaks go.

Was proud that I passed some really good desserts at a buffet we hit each time we leave Alabama and my husband had a big plate of them in front of me. I had fruit for my dessert, melon, apples!! But boy did the bread pudding, cobblers, etc. look good! Way to go GWEN!!!

I had a lite breakfast, oatmeal with blueberries and Splenda brown sugar. Dinner was a ham sandwich on wheat with popcorn. BUT, lunch was a little heavy. Sorry, but had to have 2 slices fried green tomatoes, pinto beans, cooked cabbage, corn, small bite of fish, but no bread and I skipped the mac and cheese this time around. I am actually proud I didn't do worse.

It is so funny how when the mind is set I can walk past things and when it isn't I can't. Normally I would have had lots more.

I have got to keep this frame of mind. With vacation coming up in three weeks I have to lose a few pounds or will really be in trouble. I will NOT pass on the lobster when I get to Maine!! So I know I will gain 3-5 pounds on vacation next month.
