Waiting For The Next One

Monday, September 06, 2010

The Rootin' For Ruby Second Annual Labor Day Pound-A-Thon challenge has come to a close. Maybe that's a good thing cause it sure is a long one to say. LOL But the next challenge is right around the corner and I am looking forward to it. It is a shorter one but I plan to stay on track and get closer to my goal. Yes, I know. You have heard that before. But I know that I am going to get there and it will be before the end of the year. Slow and steady is the way. Ask any Tortoise who has run a race with a hare!!

I know I can't wait till the next challenge, as I did not participate in the last one for personal reasons, and I am now ready to be in a challenge again.

I think this time of year is harder for teams to lose weight cause you go on vacation, back to school, everyone just gets busier, and sometimes people sign up and do not participate, We have done great on challenges in the past especially sparktoberfest last year when the team lost around 500 pounds, I think a loss of any kind is great and better then a gain, right everyone?????

Hope to see you all there, cuz I know what it is about and I can't tell hee hee! I am so bad!

First of all, a big thank you to you and Pixie for that PAT challenge. As a group of the entire participants, we didn't do as well as I thought we would - not even 1 pound a week - in fact, not even a half pound per person per week. But we Did lose. So let's see if we can start out the next challenge in even better shape. I think we have about a week to get into shape before it starts, right?
