So, the day I found out I had lost 30 pounds was the same day I found out I was pregnant again. Happy in the morning, crying by evening. VERY unplanned pregnancy.

Then, 8 weeks later, we found out we were pregnant with fraternal twins.

Needless to say, it was a crazy 8 months. After many complications (PTL and preeclampsia), I had the girls at 32 weeks. They ended up in the NICU for two weeks. They're home now, and healthy as can be.

They are Amelia (Baby A) and Natalia (Baby B) and joined their 27 month old sister, Sophia at home. My life is nuts. I love it.

BUTTTTTTTTTTTT, I have 18 lbs to go before I'm back at that 30 lbs lost point from February.

I need to track and drink water (x100) a day. That will really help. When my 8 weeks is over (I'm 5 wks postpartem now), then I will start pilates to tighten my abs after my second c-section.

WISH ME LUCK!! Oreos are an easier lunch than a salad with three 2 years and under underfoot.

WOW! Twins with a toddler already in the house! You are one tired momma! When we were placed with our second child (my oldest has cerebral palsy and was very infantile at the time) I felt like I had twins. The Arnold Schwarznegger and Danny Devito kind. :) It was one of the rare times I've been able to lose weight. 20 lbs in 5 months when my husband left for training and I was a psuedo single mom. Consider it a blessing (double blessing!) that you will have less time to think about food. lol No seriously, don't be afraid to ask for help. I bet you have friends and family who would love to but maybe don't know how to offer.

On the positive side, you did not gain all 30lbs (or even more) back! That is good news, really. You did it before and you can do it again. Put down that Oreo and back far away!! Don't feel that you have their "nap time" to do all those other pesky tasks that you think need to be done, you need your rest too! Use their down time as your down time too. Take care of yourself and your happy family. emoticon

You CAN do it!!!! I have 4 children, almost all grown, but I was almost exactly where you were once. One child four years old, then fraternal twin girls. My oldest's name is Amelia (we have called her Consi since birth, middle name Consuelo) and twins, Amanda and Cristina. Then a little brother 6 years later, Jorge Alexander III. He was my pleasant surprise. It does get easier, you can lose the weight (I was once down to 140 lbs, size 6-8, for years and working to get back there) Now my oldest is 24, the twins are 20 and my son just turned 14. I promise, it will get easier, you will get sleep again, and time will again slow down. Can't give you an exact time frame on that one, because it varies. And time is going to fly by faster than you can imagine. My advise....take lots of pictures. My oldest's baby book is complete, and the rest I haven't gotten to yet, but I keep info on all the important things and put it into a small box for each child, where I will some day get to finish those baby books. Better late than never! Just date everything and it will be a piece of cake to organize and finish. Enjoy them all. Take time with them, even when things seem like you are never going to get done. Children are only young once, and you will never look back and say "gee, I wish I would have spent more time working on the house". It will get there. Just don't burn yourself out, especially in the beginning. Sleep when they do. When they are in a steady schedule, and you have fully recovered, you will find out that you can get more done. Drink your water. I have added you as a friend, and I will be looking forward to your blogs. Remember, YOU CAN DO IT! emoticon
