working out with maya

Thursday, October 14, 2010

I've had my wii and the My Fitness Coach game for over a year... Maybe even two years (ouch!) and I've recently decided to take it seriously. I'm not a "finisher"... I start ALOT of things... anyway...

So, Sunday I did 45 min with Maya and felt that was just as good if not better than walking/jogging! I burned almost 400 cal! Crazy. So, I've committed to doing a workout with Maya twice a week when it's hard for me to get to the gym.

I did my second workout with her today. She kicked my butt...again. :) I HATE jumping jacks... seriously.. HATE. I'm sure a huge contributing factor is my uh... busty-ness. Sunday, Maya only made me do one set of Jumping Jack(asses). Today... three! Three sets. ugh! I didn't finish them all, but I put forth a mostly good effort. (During the second set, I was just mad they showed up again)
And then she keeps telling me to "kick it up, get that heart rate up" uh... I assure you, it's up! LOL

Anyways... that's my day 2 with Maya.

Great blog! It is so easy to get angry at the wii trainers because of the perfect form they have, and the perfect bodies they carry and the nice calm voices they speak in. ARRG LOL.
If Maya pushes you then stick to it! Sounds like you'll see results in NO TIME!

I love My Fitness Coach! Another one you should check out for your cardio needs is Gold's Gym Cardio Boxing . . . I sweat tons on it! I do 30 minutes on the cardio boxing and 30 minutes with My Fitness Coach each day . . .I haven't seen that much of a reduction in my weight yet (my own fault) but the inches are leaving pretty quickly!
