Working out at 5 a.m.

Well. This site is incredible. Thanks to Alberto for being supportive and turning me on to it.

I've been getting up super early this week, just naturally waking up a little before 5 am. It could be just jetlag from our return trip from Scotland -- regardless, I decided last night to take advantage and commit to working out this morning at 5 a.m.

Again, I woke up naturally right before 5 a.m. and got out of bed to get ready. Unfortch, someone else in the house also decided to get up at 5 a.m. When I wasn't having luck putting Sophia back down, marcus got up to take care of it so I could go. What an amazing husband he is. I even wore his sneakers when I couldn't find my right shoe! So funny that we have the same shoe size ... am wearing his cowboy boots right now!

The workout felt good, cardio good, weights good, knee good. Tomorrow I'll try some of this site's recommended strength exercises.

Tips for next time:
Decide what to wear the night before and put it out with my shoes in the living room. This way I can get dressed without Marcus waking up.

Eat something before I go ... some sort of proteiny thing ... need to look up what would be the best thing to eat.

Get up at 4:45 so I can get to the gym by 5 ... this will give me more time to strength train.
