10 day Metabolic Diet Plan - Dr. Perricone

Ok... so with some slight nudging from a friend, I have agreed to another food challenge. This is a 10 day Metabolic Challenge that increases energy, longevity and is supposed to help enhance my skin's youthful beauty. The only down side seems to be a lack of food.

The diet is based on natural ingredients and has what seems to be drastically lower portions. I am concerned about hunger and not being able to stick with it for the full pledge of 10 days. I have attached the link below for those interested in reading the ways I intend to torture myself over the next week and a half. I say this sarcastically because in all reality I have tortured myself with everything else I have shoved in my mouth to get this big to begin with!

I am actually looking forward to trying this and testing my willpower. Wish me luck!

    I know looking at the menu for the first time was a little daunting for me... but it is packed full of great healthy calories and nutrients. The caloric intake is about what I was eating before but now with liquids. I take loads of vitamins and supplements in addition to the foods that I am eating. I think 10 days is going to be the extent of this challenge for me... but it all depends on the results. I have done a vegetarian challenge before and I am always amazed at the things I can find at the health foods store! emoticon
