3rd 5k

Did my 3rd 5K today. It's my 4th one ever, but my 3rd one this year and with my 5K buddy Brandyn.

I can't remember the date of the first one, but it was in late Sept. Clocked in at 62 min with that one.

October 30th: 53 min

December 4th: 48 min. Brandyn & I ran for about 7 min total today. I think we did pretty good, but of course, if we want to keep continuing to improve, we'll have to add more running time. Yikes. LOL

We took lots of pictures, so I'll be keeping my eye out for those! It was fun to meet other sparkers and cheer everybody on! I'm so proud of our group and all our accomplishments!

At that rate, it shouldn't take too long for you to actually finish a 5k before it begins!

There are actually 5k's that start right before we "fall back" our clocks in the fall, like at 1:55am on that Sunday. During the race the time gets moved back from 2am to 1am and if you can do a 5k in less than an hour, you get a negative time!

Anyway, good job on the time improvements. Yes, it may take more running in the future but as long as you're working towards it, you'll get there.

The first one was September 25th and no I don't have a great memory; Google is where I store info I want to recall

On the way home I was thinking the same thing...this means we have to run more next time to improve our time...eek! It was fun today!

You and Brandyn are so awesome. I am so proud to know you and be part of this with you. Your time gets better and better. I sure hope that one day in the not so far off future I can keep up with you guys! I am so glad we did this and so glad to be able to call you my friend! Great job!
