Christmas decor and stuff I need to work on...

Monday, December 13, 2010

Thought you might like to see my pretty tree:

And the kids decorated outside today. It looks really cute and there is a little boy in the neighborhood, about 2 or 3. He keeps making his dad bring him down to see the lights. We gave him a candy cane. He was so adorable (and yes, he is making me wish for grandkids, again!).

On another note:

I have been really hungry lately so I went back and analyzed what the heck is going on. I am under or just making the low end on my protein for the last several days. Duh. So today, I went grocery shopping and have planned menus to get more protein and also fiber in my daily intake. I succeeded in both categories today and you know? I didnt feel as hungry today so yea for me.

Tomorrow we are going to Outback steakhouse for dinner (an annual tradition with friends) and I already know what I am going to have and will sit as far as possible from the blooming onions and I am going to be a weirdo and ask for a salad as soon as they start bringing those onions and the damn cheesy bacon fries. Then I am going to order a small sirloin steak with steamed veggies (like the applebees or chili's guiltless menu's) and I should be good.

I will do my best to stick to this and to eat lightly my other meals of the day tomorrow.

I am going to hit my 60 pound loss by the end of this weekend. I have been making the smallest of steps towards it and it is taking way too long. I average 5 pounds a month with not much effort but this past month it is stalling so I am going to be very diligent and get my 60 pound lost image up on my site. Then, I am going to get out of the 230's within a few days of that. So yea. That is my plan. Plus Maia and I have a bet with a weigh in date of January 15th. Loser buys lunch. Im so excited. She really likes cheese so that works in my favor. (Team Jan!)

Then I will kick the 220's then the 210's then Mezzoangel is saving me a spot in Onederland with Bigmamat and I dont want to keep them waiting. MY sparkanniversary is March 10. I will be in Onderland for that. I am writing this to hold myself accountable and to ask for your encouragement to keep me straight.

Jan I love you. You are so funny. Love the decorations. You are doing great. I am hovering with that 1 pound away from 80 down and it is making me INSANE. That is a great plan for the Outback. That is what I eat when I go there as well. Those onions are flipping evil. Stay away.

    Go team Jan!

What a GORGEOUS tree! I haven't put mine up yet, since I'm going home for the holidays. But I'll have plenty of decorating to do when I get there. And the yard, the yard! So, so cute.

So excited for your sixty-pound mark. Congratulations! You'll do great at Outback. It helps that the focus is on your friends and not on the blooming onions.

Hope you're having a spectacular week!
