Starting the New Year Right!

I was bad over the Christmas season. From about a week before Christmas to just yesterday, I've been eating with wild abandon. Thankfully I've only gained about five pounds, but I'm not proud of myself. I guess I figured that, hey, it's the holidays and I should be allowed to eat whatever I want. But by New Years, I was totally disgusted by what I was eating. I don't even want to see a piece of candy or cookies now :P
So I'm starting my program up again today. My new year's resolution is actually to set up a daily routine so that I don't spend a lot of time doing stuff that doesn't matter, like watching tv or playing video games. The routine will also help out with my dieting, since if I'm doing something that I enjoy doing, I'm less likely to go binging. Today was actually really easy for me to eat within my calories.
On a funny note, I tried to log in about noon to log my food, but the site was SUPER slow and having tons of problems. I kept trying for about an hour, but it was having a lot of problems. I decided that it's probably slow because it's the first work day of the new year, and people are probably busy starting their new year's resolutions :D
