Two weeks down the road

Here it is two weeks down the road and life has returned to it's normal crazy pace. Up early, off to work, home each evening, then off again with the kids evening activities.

Weight loss and lifestyle change is going good. I have lost 3 pounds so far. I am not trying to make fast radical changes. I am trying to be realistic with my changes and make small changes over time. I didn't get this way overnight and i am not going to get out of it over night. If I try to change everything all at once it will just overwhelm me and i will just give up. for now I am focusing on small mini goals.


My mini goals are:

1. Pack my lunch for work at least 4 days a week
2. Find a way to eat more protein
3. Stay within my daily allowances
4. Don't stress over the small things

I am doing pretty well with this right now and will stick with these goals for the month of January. i have heard it takes 21 days to form a habit so I figure next month I will focus on other goals while continuing these.
