Day One...

So there were some highs and lows today. Ceding to my husband's request for McDonald's for lunch was probably a bad choice. I COULD have just picked up his food and then went home to make myself lunch. But it was 12:30, and I was hungry since I skipped breakfast and I still had more errands to run. I could have chosen my meal better, but I didn't. Considering I had a double quarter pounder with cheese for lunch (probably the first one in over a year), to only be over my calorie goal for the day by 100 calories is kind of a win. I did exercise today, for 90 minutes even. I did drink all my water for the day. I'll call this day a wash. Not good, not bad, just neutral. Although, for my first day back, I can't complain. It's 9:45 now, I have 300 pages to read before class in the morning . I better get cracking.

    When I hit up McD's (I have a 3 year old), I always order myself a chicken nugget Mighty Kids meal. 6 nuggets, small fries and drink. I usually only eat about half of the fries and I am good to go-- it doesn't cost much more than if I had eaten at home and I enjoy it.

    Hey! Now you're with me from the pizza and wings from last night!! Look, we're all going to slip and fall, and give into cravings. We just have to get back up and get going again. Yesterday - double quarter pounder with cheese (which sounds so freaking good and I hate you now, lol) ... Today - still lies in your hands!!
