January blah...

I don't know about some of y'all but I hate the time right after Christmas, I get so blue, its cold and dreary out and I all want to do is stay inside covered up in front of the tv...tho I work full time and am constantly moving, I still need to go out and get some fresh air and walk.

How are you getting along this January, do you have the after Christmas blahs?

    Chin up. After the holidays it's a big change from the whirlwind of what the holidays brings, which is usually bills, lol.

    Hang in there and try to do more things that you enjoy!

    No, no, no! January, February and March are awesome! Why? It's the COZY time of year. You have to get out your jigsaw puzzles and invite people over for board games or cards! It might be dreary outside, but it gives you a reason to make it CHEERY on the inside! You have to get A and E's Pride and Prejudice, that will spend at least 6 of your dreary hours. And you'll want to watch it a gabillion times! lol. And Sense and Sensiblity, the version with Grant Hughs, You have to crack out ALL the Jane Austen books. By the time you're done with those it will be time for spring. This time of year is happier for me in the sense that I KNOW that Spring is COMING!!!!!!!! WOO HOO! Autumn is beautiful, but then you've got the winter dread ahead. Come on, Ladies! Enjoy this time of year!
    (though, in my case, I've got 9 children to spend my cozy winter evenings) If YOU don't, then it's time to call in the neighbors!
    Either way, Let's make J., F. and M. our most healthfully actively time from now on! Change the past! Make a great future!

    Hope you get to feeling better soon! I find myself more introverted this time of year, but not necessarily "blue". I live in Seattle, so this time of year, its dreary and gray and fairly rainy, but its still nice to go for a walk outside. I suggest reading a good book, or some other activity that you enjoy... walking is always good.

    I hope this passes for you quickly.

    For me I think this is the first year I have not had the Jan. blue. I guess it was because I decide to do something about my health and weight this last year that Jan. feel so much like a new beginning. So I am not letting the weather get me down.
