Week One Progress

So, for me yesterday was the beginning of week two. Well, it's weigh-in day on Sundays anyhow. The progress so far:

Weight: Down 3 pounds
Measurements: (Disclaimer: Not sure the husband is measuring in the same spots as last week, but he tries)
Waist: Down 1.25 inches
Hips: Up 2 inches
Thighs: Up .25 inch
Arms: No Change
Waist to Hip Ratio: Down .09

Overall, I call it a win. I'll be stepping it up a bit this week with the addition of a pilates class which starts Wednesday, and will be every Monday and Wednesday through mid-March. I'm going to continue doing the Shred daily with that.

The goals this week are to continue tracking my food, but focusing on getting the right ratios of carbs, fat, and protein. Also, to continue drinking lots of water and unlike last week, not miss any days. Of course exercising at least 10 minutes a day, which should be a given if I Shred everyday.

Once I lose 15 pounds, or get down to around 185, it's time to quit smoking..... again. I will gain weight when I quit. Obviously I'll try not to, but it's pretty much guaranteed. Quitting sucks. I've quit several times. And I always start again when I become an emotional mess. Maybe the addition of exercise to my life will be a good stress reliever and it will be easier this time. I'm not there yet, but it's rolling around in brain.

Week two will be better than week one. I will continue to make progress. I will stick with this, no matter what.
