Todays Workout Funnies!

I drag my bootie out to the shop today for my workout...trying to ignore that little bad angel on my shoulder who is trying to get me to just take a day off. But no...I don't give in! I haven't missed one of my workouts since before September, and I'm not going to miss one now!
So I get into the shop and decide it's cold enough to build a fire in the woodstove. I like working out in the cold, but for strength training in the shop...40 and below is just too cold.
I get my fire built, do a little warm up...then go to work on my abs. Of course, I'm on the mat, really working it, listening to my iPod, and what comes on??? Weird Al Yankovic!!! My son (12yrs) and I share an iPod, but there isn't alot of music he actually likes. Only a couple random songs and about 50 (no exaggeration) Weird Al songs. When it comes to workouts, there's nothing worse then when you're in the middle of a set of strength training and "Living with a hernia" starts playing...and the iPod is docked in the far corner of the shop. Unfortunately I had no choice but to listen and sing along...sad!
After strength training, I did my jogging on the treadmill because the rain is coming down way to hard for me to dodge the raindrops on the trail today. Well...my dog decides to stand over the front of the treadmill staring at my feet the majority of the time! The whole time I'm thinking he's either going to start drooling all over my feet or he's going to try to jump on and we're both going to go flying off this thing...my biggest worry. Let me say it makes you a bit self conscious when someone is staring at your feet while you're running!
About half way through my jog...I'm peeling off my layers and hitting the fan button. Good thing I built that fire!!!
My dog finally lays down and what happens? Achy Breaky Heart...by Weird Al, on my iPod!!! At least I have it plugged into the treadmill now...FAST FORWARD!!!!! I think it's time for my son to have his own iPod!!!
Anyway...this was just a ramble! As I was doing my workout today I found humor in these things and hope it brings someone else humor too! If you need a chuckle during your workouts this weekend, just think of me and my dog and Weird Al!!!
