UPDATE from the I can't make up my mind blog

Tuesday, January 25, 2011

Ok. Well, I did hand over the situation with the apartment guy. John called him and yeah... that's all I want to say about that. It's done, I can kinda laugh at it now. I asked Dave if he'd ever heard of an apartment locator being code for somethin' else... if you know what I mean... wink, wink. LOL

I had a meeting today with John. The other partners didn't vote for me to be a small part owner and I honestly was relieved. Kinda took the weight off my shoulders. I'm still involved in the property management side of the business with marketing and apartment locating...well me and DH. ugh. The check FINALLY came from my first apartment locating and John forgot to bring it!!! ugh! HELLO!!!! I should point out that John HAS paid me twice, just kind of as a "thanks" but when I think of how much I've done and how much he gave me... it's kinda "eh" I was saving it to go to get my realtors' license, but I so want to do something fun with it! LOL Or even just make an extra payment on something. Bah!

Ok, so, that's where I'm at with that mess! :)

Hehehe.... I am glad that is all resolved!!!

Oooo a momma, huh? Trying can be fun-- but, if you are like me.. it can be frustrating after a couple years of getting no where. You are gonna be great when it does happen!

If you were relieved then all I can say is that was your answer, no matter that the other partners didn't take to the idea.

It seems to me that as much as you have done that you should be compensated as a consultant at the minimum. I am all for helping people out, but working for someone who is profitting by your work is something that should be putting more money in YOUR pocket. Your 'eh' remark tells me it wasn't nearly enough for what you put in. Just sayin'!

Glad the jerk has been dealt with and that part of the mess is over for you.

Sooo...What DO you want to be when you grow up? emoticon emoticon
