I'm looking forward to February!

Even though we are in the deep of winter here in upstate NY I am finding myself looking forward to February. For one I have my Spark Anniversary in the middle of February. I'm proud to say I've been at this for a year now and even though I've been a little stuck in my weight loss - ok a little is an understatement - I'm still happy I have made many positive changes.
I'm setting some new goals for this month and hoping they get my weight loss journey moving again. My exercise has improved, but I have found during these last couple of months that I have talked myself out of working out when I should have done something. I will make a goal to do at least a small workout everyday during this month. I do struggle with that all or nothing mentality - I will do at least 10 - 15 minutes on those days I want to do nothing! I do think this is from the winter blahs. I have rearranged my workout room so that I can even do my new weighted hoola hoop that I got for Christmas. I thought I would have to wait until spring, but I moved my recumbent exercise bike a different direction and made enough room. The hoola hoop should help me get rid of more of my pouch! I must measure!
I am also cutting out my bad snacking which has gotten out of control the last two months. It is time to get back to those almonds and carrots with hummus. All those very tasty nutritional treats that I love - no more chocolate candy... I've been very weak when it comes to my poor choices.
I also need to get my portions shrunk back down. I'm ok with this, but there is room for improvement .
I am looking forward to losing this month!
