Frustration at work

Wednesday, March 23, 2011

my work week started off with a very frustrating Monday! I've been frustrated at my work for about a year and a half now; I keep getting more and more responsibility and getting paid the same (I'm doing the job of 3 people but getting paid for 1)! But I stuck it out thinking it might get better. It hasnt and I have had enough and applied to nursing school and got in! It's a two year wait to start the program so I've been getting pre-reqs done and good news is my current degree transfers over nicely and I only have to take a few classes plus clinicals. I decided that I would stay until the end of the spring sports season (so the school and kids would not be without medical coverage at games). My fiance decided to go active duty and we would like to be stationed in Texas or atleast somewhere warm :) We plan to do this in June once I am done at my job. The sports season starts soon and that is a good thing and a bad thing ... good is that it'll be closer to warmer weather! But it means I'm going to need to be more diligent about going to the gym right after work. Normally I do well during the time in between seasons and slack off during the sports seasons when I get busy. I think that with sparkpeople and what I have learned and changed so far I think I can do it! My fiance and I did a workout together he used to do in the marine corps ... I couldnt move for a day or so but I feel awesome now. We are going to try to make it a regular weekly routine. Will write again next week!
