At Last!!!! My Non Scale Victory (NSV) for March!

Sunday, April 03, 2011

So my dearest Spark Buddy has shared this new term. NSV...or Non-Scale Victory. Thankfully I have had one this month!

My scale has not been budgin' and I've found myself getting really discouraged, because I am a emoticon junkie!
Since switching gyms in February I have been working out like never before. emoticon emoticon emoticon Seriously leaving the gym sweaty and sore.
Heeding the advice of many of my Sparky Encouragers, I turned to a new benchmark on progress. I measured myself and the results are in..... emoticon

I've worked off:
1/2 inch from my waist
2 inches from my abdomen
1 inch from my hips
1 inch from my thighs

For a wonderfully grand total of 4 1/2 inches!!

emoticon

I'm thankful for my "NSV".... it's actually put a emoticon in my step. Great motivator!!

Yes, yes, yes! Use the tape measure when the scale is stubborn.

Non Scale Victories are definitely the best. While it is great to see that needle go down on the scale, it is better to get those pants buttoned. Woohoo emoticon

Great Attitude, my friend. Keep up the great work.
