Day 96, Part II: Better, MUCH Better!

Wednesday, April 06, 2011

My stomach is iffy, tho I think the medication that's supposed to coat it (making it ibuprofen proof, lol) is helping. Even with it, my digestion just does not like IB.

BUT - it surely is making my back feel much, much better! I'm not hunched over, i can walk at a steady, albeit slow, gait, and I can sit down and stand up without it feeling like a major endeavor. I'll take it, lol!

I got chicken soup made this afternoon which will see us thru a couple days plus have some to freeze. Tomorrow is grocery day and... something else, but I forget. Good thing I generally write these things down.

Tomorrow starts the new 'strengthen your back' exercises. Meanwhile, I plan to catch up on some much-needed rest, so I'm calling it early.

Which means, goodnight, Sparklers, wherever you are!

Hi Casey. It's been a while, but I hope that you're well and that your back strengthening exercises make you strong and upright. I just bought a DVD of toning chair exercises. Can't wait for it to come in.

Love your Easter/Spring background wall. Yvonne

I am so glad to hear that it's "just" muscular! Muscular you can work on, & fix. I would recommend finding a good massage therapist -- mine helps untangle the knots & ease the tight muscles. Great pain relief, & then I can walk again without groaning like an old lady.

Just remember: 20 minutes on then 20 minutes off with the heat. My arm & shoulder hurt so much Sunday night I forgot, & almost had 1st degree burns! emoticon

That sure is good news! It might be better not to take your meds on an empty stomach if they're hard to digest. That's what my pharmacist told me, anyway. Hope that things continue to get better and that you soon won't have to take the meds at all.

    Good night. emoticon
